Guys, I am wondering how, if possible, to make this infrastructure work with networked user accounts (LDAP)? Currently, the network users can access the master node, but are not able to run jobs as they are not seen on the compute infrastructure. Only a local 'test' user seems to be able to use the cluster via slurm.

I appreciate all your help over the last several weeks. This has been a very interesting project and I've really enjoyed learning OHPC and your support has been stellar!

Are the nodes set up for LDAP authentication?

If no, that's your problem.
If yes, check your firewall rules to make sure LDAP can get through the
SMS (assuming you have your network set up this way).
