Re: openhpc - nfs mount issue

Hi -

This doesn't have anything to do with OpenHPC. What version of NFS are you trying to use? If >= v.4, you will need to export an NFS root under which your exports are bind-mounted. Sadly, the NFS documentation is not what it should be, but you can google and find tutorials on how to set this up.

Dear Team,
I  am Padma from University of Sharjah, I am installing a HPC cluster on 13 nodes using openhpc -1.3.9
And head node is installed with CentOS Linux release 7.7.1908 (Core).
We also have a NFS storage server installed with - CentOS Linux release 8.1.1911 (Core).
Network – Ethernet and Infiniband.
We have created nfs share - /nfs-home on NFS_server which I have mounted on Head node to /home.
From head node /home and /opt/ohpc/pub will be exported to client nodes.
But when I do exportfs –a – get error as below
exportfs: /home does not support NFS export
Can anyone help me to resolve this issue, due to this I am not able to test slurm job scheduler.
You help and assistance is highly appreciated.
